To this end, in-advance preparation plays a key role in maximizing effectiveness of the clinical field training.\n “K” Nursing University has been providing lectures and workshops in advance to students to get them ready for the clinical training of maternity nursing, To verify the effectiveness of such preparation, questionnaires were conducted on students three times; before and after workshop, and after the clinical training. Results of the questionnaires demonstrated that the current style of theme report imposed too much burden on students as a preparatory work for the clinical training, and that the theme itself and the schedule often changed in the field.
