Analysis of their reports revealed that they practiced humble self-insight, and reviewed their relationship with others by rediscovering love through awareness of egocentrism. Moreover,nearly 30% of the students used the notion of Naikan during their basic training course at hospitals , where they felt the honor of providing the medical care to the patients by putting themselves in patients’ place.
