Informed Consent stands for the patients' autonomy during their medical treatment. If we construct a system, a medical treatment environment and a means for supporting patients, then patient autonomy may be materialised. To this end, nursing was examined from two perspectives: the 'Need for Patient Autonomy and, the subject-object relationship in supportive care. As a result, patient autonomy was found achievable through the following: By giving some responsibility and motivation to patients to manage their own diseases. Prioritising patient's judgments regarding their disease management. By this means, patientst' anxieties will be reduced concerning pain and other disease symptoms. Nurses can support patients to raise their autonomy through the following: 1) Nurses hold patients in high esteem, in a supportive relationship; 2) Nurses discuss treatments with patients, on a more equal footing; and 3) Nurse applying an open-ended self patients. Thus, patients and nurses can have a deeper relationship with each other, from which will grow respect for the individual.}, pages = {287--295}, title = {患者の自律実現と看護}, volume = {5}, year = {2003} }
