| 内容記述 | Within the terms of the ‘Public Health Nurses, Midwives and Nurses Act,’ women have been designated as ‘Nursing Woman,’ and men as ‘Nursing Professionals,’ gender, thus, differentiates their titles, and is integrated into the law discriminating against both. In this paper, current numbers of male nurses, the historical perceptions and legalistic rules governing nursing, and male student's expectations for the profession are comparatively analysed. In consequence, it is contended that so long as one national standard governs both positions, they should be replaced by the same occupational title in order to open the profession and equalise statuses for the improvement of health care. | |||||
